TERMS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION

“Buy and Win”

PROCLAMATION

DUTY FREE SHOPS SINGLE MEMBER SOCIETE ANONYME styled “DUTY FREE SHOPS S.A.”, which has its registered seat at Agios Stefanos, Attica, 23^rd km. Athens – Lamia N.R., tel: 2106269400 (hereinafter “the Company”) is organizing a competition called “Buy and Win” that will take place in all stores operated by the Company throughout Greece and more specifically, in 23 airports, 14 harbors and 11 border stations

ARTICLE 1 – TERM

The competition will last from July 28^th of June 2023 at 00:00:01 a.m. until October 4^th 2023 at 23:59:59 p.m.

ARTICLE 2 – PARTICIPATION RIGHT

Eligible to participate are:

Those who make purchases from the stores of the Company, are at least 18 years old, have full legal capacity and follow the procedure described herein, with the exception, however, of the employees of the Company and their spouses and relatives of 1^st and 2^nd degree;

Given that no purchase of any product of the Company is required for the participation in the competition, anyone interested may alternatively receive, free of charge, up to one (1) participation coupon for the whole term of the competition from the offices of the Company (23^rd Athens – Lamia N.R., Agios Stefanos, Attica), every Monday and Tuesday between 11:00 a.m. and 14:00 p.m.

Having received the code number (which is unique for each coupon) and having accepted the participation terms and rules, the participants may visit the special webpage “www.buyandwin.gr ” (hereinafter “microsite”) and fill-in the relevant fields, and will thereby in the draw.

ARTICLE 3 – GROUNDS FOR EXCLUSION / CANCELLATION OF PARTICIPATIONS

Any participation may be cancelled on the following grounds:

Due to an impediment of the participant pursuant to article 2 above;
Due to inability to locate the winner, thereby rendering it impossible to inform him/her, or due to him/her showing negligence, indifference or inactivity as regards the confirmation and taking delivery of his/her gift;
Due to the failure of any participant to comply with or accept any of these terms, all of which are considered material.

In the event that the participation of any winner is canceled in any way, such person shall automatically and definitely lose his/her right to receive the gift and the Company shall be released from any relevant liability and shall be entitled to proceed with either the cancellation of the gifts that have not been granted or their disposal through any procedure or even freely, at its absolute discretion.

ARTICLE 4 – COMPETITION GIFTS

During the competition 15 winners in total will be given prizes as follows:

The amount of 10.000 Euros to 3 winners in total (30.000 Euros– 1 winner per month with the amount of 10.000 Euros each) The amount of 10.000 Euros will be deposited in a bank account of the winner, details of which will be provided by the winner who is also liable to pay the tax corresponding to that amount, in accordance with applicable law, as well as any related expense.
18 pairs (packages for two persons) of airline tickets to be won by 9 lucky participants in the competition are economy roundtrip tickets and refer to AEGEAN AIRLINES’ direct flights only (point to point). All taxes and airport fees are inclusive in the offer. Change of tickets may only occur on dates and departure hours. Changes regarding the class of travel are unacceptable whereas there will be an extra charge of 20 Euros per ticket for any change that arises following the issuance of the tickets. Tickets are offered on a “Space Confirmed” basis and cannot be issued with open date whereas the trips should be made until 31.08.2023. It is noted that the trips MAY NOT be made the following blackout periods: 22/12/2023-07/01/2024, 12/04/2024-20/04/2024. Reservations and ticket issuance are subject to availability on the desired trip dates, should be completed at the same time and no later than 10 days prior to the departure date. The issuance of the tickets will be made exclusively by the ticket issuance department of Aegean Airlines. For the reservation and the issuance of the tickets, the winners may only communicate with the ticket issuance department of the company at servicingoffice@aegeanair.com or at the telephone number (+30) 2106261709 from Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 17:00 (Greece local time). Tickets are not re-sellable or transferable. Cash refund or other substitution cannot be made. Tickets can be used for flights operated by Aegean Airlines. Change of carrier is not permitted. The liability of the air carrier is limited in accordance with Greek and International legislation.
3 three-day stays (two nights) for two persons with breakfast (1 winner per month with one three-days stay in a double room), in one of the Luxury Resorts of Grecotel, subject to availability of each hotel during the period selected by the winner and specifically, during the months September – October 2023 and during the months April – October 2024, excluding: July – August, the periods of high occupancy, public holidays and festive periods (Easter, Whit Monday, 1^st May, National holidays), in the following hotels:

LARISA IMPERIAL (Larisa)
VOULIAGMENI SUITES (Vouliagmeni)
FILOXENIA (Kalamata)

The stay, which 3 lucky participants to the competition will win in one of the abovementioned hotels, is subject to: (a) availability during the period when the winner wishes to stay (b) timely, i.e. 30 days prior to the date of the stay, contacting (by telephone or email) the Central Reservation Department of Grecotel in order to make the reservation: tel. +30-210-7280400, email: book@grecotel.com. The stay will take place in accordance with the aforementioned in par. 4.I.ii., during the operating period of the hotels (April – October) with the exception of the July – August period, as well as the days of national holidays, periods of high occupancy and festive periods. Only the winner, whose details will be announced by the Company on the date of the draw, plus one person of his/her choice, will have the right to stay. The stay may not be transferred or exchanged for money.

It is noted that Grecotel shall have no responsibility in case the winner does not make for any reason whatsoever any stays in the aforementioned hotels.

Each month, on the specific dates mentioned hereinafter, the winners will be drawn for the amount of 10,000 Euros for 1 winner, 1 (pairs of 2) airline tickets with Aegean Airlines for three winners and 1 three-day stay (two nights) for two persons with breakfast in one of the Luxury Resorts of Grecotel. It is noted that the exchange of the gifts or their replacement with others or their transfer or their exchange for money at any price is not possible and may not be requested.

ARTICLE 5 – PARTICIPATION PROCEDURE

Passengers making purchases between June 28th 2022 and October 4^th 2022, will have the opportunity with every purchase (that is with every purchase receipt) made (regardless of the quantity of the items) to receive from the cash desk of each store ONE (1) coupon with a unique code number for their participation in the draw. Each passenger is entitled to participate in each monthly draw with a maximum number of thirty (30) coupons.

Once the passengers receive the corresponding coupon from the cash desks of the stores, they should visit the microsite and follow the steps as appear on the coupon. Incase the customer has purchased one of the products included in the list above, he/she has to “select” them in the microsite (a list of products and photos is available) andshall thus automatically receive additional participations. The accuracy of the declared elements by the customer with regard to the purchase of products from the sponsors and/or the use of pre-order will be checked by the company prior to the award to him/her of the prize he/she has won.

To participate to the competitions, passengers should register with RED BY DUFRY loyalty program. Passengers should provide their personal information in order to register to RED BY DUFRY loyalty program, or login in if they already are members of the program.
No purchase of any product of the Company is necessary for the participation in the competition. Any interested party may alternatively receive ONE (1) participation coupon for the whole term of the competition from the offices of the Company (23^rd klm Athens – Lamia N.R., Agios Stefanos, Attica), every Monday & Tuesday between 11.00 a.m. and 14.00 p.m. If someone wants to take part in the competition but does not want or is not able to use the microsite, he/she can communicate with the company, Mrs. Eva Brouzou (Tel.: 210-6269585, e-mail: ebrouzou@dutyfreeshops.gr & info@dutyfeeshops.gr) to guide him/her for participation in the competition.
The selection of the winners will be made through 3 draws which will take place in the presence of the Notary Public in and for the city of Athens Charalampos Marinos, son of Dionisios, resident of Athens (107 Solonos Street, telephone number 210-3822751) and one representative of the Company, at the headquarters of the Company, on the following dates and hours:

Thursday August 3^rd 2023, at 10.00,
Thursday September 14^th 2023, at 10.00,
Tuesday October 10^th, at 10.00,

Anyone who so wishes may attend the draw. Each draw will be made in the following way:

User data is entered in RED BY DUFRY loyalty program’s database, which will be exported to a separate Excel file for the purposes of the draw. Winners will be generated by random draw through the https://www.random.org/ platform and there will be a confirmation that the winners meet all requirements.

Each draw will provide (a) one winner winning the amount of € 10,000 (b) 3 winners winning 1 pair of airline tickets each, as per the aforementioned under 4.I.iii (c) 1 winner winning a three-day stay (two nights) for two people with breakfast in one of the aforementioned Luxury Resorts Grecotel. Any winner that do not meet the terms and conditions of articles 2, 3 and 5 above, will be canceled and the procedure of the draw will be continued until the necessary number of valid winners is completed.

ARTICLE 6 - GIFT DELIVERY PROCEDURE

The winners will be notified by telephone and email (at the telephone number and email address declared in the microsite) within 48 hours following the draw regarding the gift they have won as well as the method of its delivery.
In the event that the winner is not found or refuses to take delivery of his/her gift or is negligent, indifferent or inactive regarding the securing and taking delivery of his/her gift within one month from the date of the draw that he/she won, i.e. until September 3, 2023 for the 1^st draw, October 14, 2023 for the 2^nd draw, November 10^th, 2023 for the 3^rd draw, then he/she will automatically and definitely lose his/her right to receive the gift.
Following the above dates, the winner will automatically and definitely lose his/her right to receive his/her gift and the Company shall be relieved from any relevant liability.

ARTICLE 7 – RIGHTS

The participants do not have and do nor acquire any right whatsoever over the trademarks, names, indications, logos and other distinctive signs of the Company. The coupon is strictly personal and non-transferable. The Company reserves the right unilaterally, without notification and at its discretion, to amend, revoke, extend or shorten the term of this competition, to change the gifts offered as well as to amend the terms and the participation dates and/or to cancel the competition by a relevant notification which will be lawfully published. In these instances, the Company shall have no liability whatsoever towards the participants or/and any third party. In the event that this competition is cancelled, the participants shall have no right whatsoever against the Company, nor shall they be entitled or have any right to request the continuation of the competition or any compensation. The Company shall bear no liability for any factual or legal defects of the gift, regarding which the winners should refer directly to the respective companies providing the corresponding services, depending on the gift.

ARTICLE 8 – PERSONAL DATA

Each participant, through his/her participation in the competition, expressly and unconditionally consents to the collection of his/her personal data in the course of filling in the participation form and subscription form of the application LOYALTY RED BY DUFRY of Dufry Company in accordance with terms and conditions of LOYALTY RED BY DUFRY and DUFRY’S Privacy Policy. Each participant shall have the right, at any time, to revoke the above consent, have access to his/her personal data and be informed about them, or even object to any further processing of his/her data in accordance with the provisions of L. 2472/97 regarding the processing of personal data, by communicating for the above reasons with Ms. Eva Brouzou.

If a participant wishes and selects the relevant field, the company is likely to maintain the aforementioned personal data for promotional / informative purposes and sending to him in the future informational / promotional newsletters. In this case, the participant will have a right to revoke their consent, to access the personal data, information and objection to the above data processing as per the aforementioned. privacy@dufry.com. It is noted that the withdrawal of consent before the receipt of any gift will imply the inability of the Company to contact him for the purposes of the competition.

ARTICLE 9 – ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

The participation in the competition in accordance with the above presupposes the unconditional acceptance of the entirety of the terms set out herein, of which the participants are fully aware.

ARTICLE 10 – APPLICABLE LAW – JURISDICTION

These terms shall be governed by Greek law and any dispute regarding the competition shall be resolved by the Courts of Athens that are competent rationae materiae.
